How Does the Powder Coating Process Work?
Powder coating is a process where paint in powder form is applied to items using electrostatic or electrokinetic spray methods. Before painting, we thoroughly chemically and mechanically clean the components, including our aluminum rungs. Electrostatically charged paint particles adhere to the painted element, ensuring a uniform coating.
Next, the element undergoes a baking process in ovens at temperatures of around 160-210°C. This causes the powder to melt and then harden. The end result is a durable coating that is resistant to corrosion, sturdy, and resistant to minor scratches.
